LILONGWE (MalawiTalk) – Malawi government has finally cleared the air ambulance which Prophet Shepherd Bushiri chartered to fly his 8-year-old daughter to Kenya for specialised medical attention.

Government blocked the flight last week and never gave reason for the same.

We at MalawiTalk now have information from government that the chartered air ambulance has been cleared to take  Bushiri’s daughter, who  was duly referred by competent Malawi medical professionals to seek further medical treatment.

Government spokesperson Mr Gospel Kazako when asked about the issue responded in affirmative but could not give details.

It is hoped that this decision will help save the life of the daughter who is reported to be in criticial condition.

The child has been flying to Kenya  several times for her medical attention.

Lawyer  for Bushiri, Mr Wapona Kita had warned that government will be held responsible if anything terrible happens to the child.

Bushiris are battling against their extradition to South African and their  case will be heard on March 8 in a Lilongwe  court.
